Crafting with Scarlett

Today I decided to start my scrapbook for 2012. 

I'm off work with sinusitis, which is fortunately being beaten by the antibiotics, but a class of 28 nine year olds is too much today! Adi has gone to work for the late shift and Scarlett is home with me. So we have been crafting together. Causing a huge mess in my kitchen!

It started quite sedately, with a couple of stamps on some paper, Scarlett quickly got the hang of the clear stamps on the acrylic blocks.

A quick trip upstairs for supplies and I came down to this.... Like her mummy Scarlett's crafting doesn't stay tidy for long!

I started by picking some photos for the first page, they were all taken on my iPhone 4S I used instagram to add some filters to two of them, the picture of Ash, and Scarlett sucking her thumb. The picture of Ad and me was taken on NYE and I used an antique filter to match the others. 

Once printed they all had a slightly purple hue, so I picked matching papers.

I used my Cricut to cut the tag, and stamped 2012 on using some clear stamps. The stars and 'Sweet Memories' were also from the Winter Frolics Cricut cartridge. Well I'm fairly pleased with the initial result, it's not perfect, and I hope they'll get better as the year progresses, I've got a lot to learn!

Anyway, this is how my table looks at the moment, but we're all taking a well earned break!
