Having rescued 12 battery hens shortly after Christmas, Mum noticed that two of the girls were being bullied by the other 10. We were due to have a few in a month or so when we had constructed suitable living space. But this was an emergency. So today in super quick time, my amazing fiancé built a chicken coop and run, it's not ideal, but they used to have a space the size of a piece of A4 paper, so I think they will be fine. Here follows some pictures of their arrival at chez Flower Petal.
